NON-SCOPE CONSIDERATIONS!!!By conducting an Environmental Site Assessment (ESA) in accordance with this recommended standard and conducting all appropriate inquiry into the past and present uses of the property, the purchaser would satisfy requirements of "due dilligence" under CERCLA. However, in serving the best interests of the client, DeLisle Associates LTD feels that purchasers of real property or their representatives should also investigate into the presence of other "non-scope considerations" as determined by the aforementioned ASTM standard. The following is a brief list of things which could contribute to liability to a building owner should an investigation for the presence of them, not be conducted.
DeLisle has individuals on staff to assist you in your endeavors to determine the presence and quantity of "non-scope considerations" and can help with evaluating their potential for extreme liability to the property purchaser. Call us at (269) 373-4500 or e-mail now.
