This course, in content, is very similar to the HAZWOPER 40 Hour Course and as such, is taught as that course. The regulations require that the course for Hazardous Materials Specialist be 24 Hours in length; however, DeLisle Associates does not consider 24 hours to be an adequate length to cover the material required in the regulations and therefore considers this to be a 40 Hour Course (the HAZWOPER 40 Hour Course).
