EHS Specialist- Industrial Hygiene Sciences

Location: Based in Kalamazoo, with work Internationally

Salary/ wage: (negotiable depending upon intangibles)

Status: Full Time

Work Week: Possible seven day stints

Job Description

An individual with suitable education and experience requirements to support company work at a project management level is desired.

The potential applicant shall possess experience in all phases of exposure air monitoring, building assessment and occupational safety and health risk assessment. Experience in management of projects from a scheduling, performance and cost maintenance perspective is necessary. The potential applicant shall be flexible in work assignment and shall be able to multi-task and perform at a high level of professionalism at all times. Travel is an integral part of the position and may entail approximately 30% of a given work year. The ability to participate in company training course schedules as instructor a plus.

Minimum Qualifications

• B.S. Degree in a science or health and safety field.
• Minimum of 3 years in the health and safety field, either from a field technician or human resources perspective.
• Advanced writing skills and technical report generation.
• Computer aided design and/or a higher level of computer knowledge than basic.
• Individual must possess good organizational skills and excellent time management ability.
• Individual must present a professional appearance and possess good interpersonal communication skills.

Industrial Hygiene Technician

Entry level position available for individuals in OSHA field who are willing to do some travel. All training will be provided. Associates Degree in a science background is helpful.

Instructor

Full time position available for an outgoing person with a science background. Teaching in a consulting business HAZWOPER, OSHA, health and safety classes.
